Operation September Freedom, Do you know a World War II veteran?

Charles “Tony” Dobbins Department of Georgia Adjutant - 3/24/2021

Join our national effort to locate and honor as many World War II veterans as possible with free Dream Flights in our fleet of restored WWII-era Stearman biplanes. The VFW has teamed with Dream Flights and Sport Clips to make this happen

Operation September Freedom is the largest barnstorming event in history and may be our last opportunity to thank the brave men and women whose sacrifice led to the Sept. 2, 1945 signing of the Japanese Instrument of Surrender.

The tour begins on Aug. 1, 2021 and runs through Sept. 30, 2021.

To request a dream flight visit

https://dreamflights.org/

All flights are free to the WWII Veterans. We encourage all Posts to get behind this and sign up as many WWII Veterans. If you don’t know any or would much rather support financially feel free to donate on the Dream Flights web page. The flight schedules will be announced in a couple months after the sign ups. Stay tuned and get as many VFW hats to the flights to support these events. We can be a small part in this history making barn storming event.
